I could not make this up

We - myself and a couple of other women from work - were discussing the Rock, and how handsome we thought he was (or not, in the case of one obviously blind woman). The discussion rolled around to his ethnicity, and how he was of Somoan descent. The woman who sits across from me said, "Oh, Somoa. That's a Pacific island, right?" We all agreed that it was, and the conversation continued. Then the same woman said, "It's a shame about what's happening to the Somalians. There's been so much intermarriage that only 10% of the Somalian population is full-blooded."

I didn't know how to respond to that, and neither did the other woman involved in the conversation, so we left it at there. You heard it here first, folks: only 10% of the Somoan population is made up of full-blooded Somalians.
